OR9 is the highest other rank. The title is the same in every service: Warrant Officer Class 1 in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the Army and the RAF. The scale has 6 levels, and the first two pay the same.
Trade supplements at OR9
The supplements behave differently here from lower down the scale. The first three pay almost the same at every OR9 level, and the fourth pays noticeably more. Unless a trade is on the fourth supplement, it makes almost no difference to pay at this rank.
